About LEXI
Lexi has coached for over 10 years and been a member of the CLGTC staff since 2016. She was a gymnast at CLGTC for 13 years. 
​

Lexi has a degree in science and has previously worked in the healthcare field. She is a mother to two children.

​Team and Recreational Gymnastics Coach
About LIZZIE
Lizzie has been a member of the CLGTC coaching staff since 1998. Before she became a coach, she competed for CLGTC for seven years.
​

Lizzie also holds a current Level 10 judging rating and has been judging gymnastics competitions for over 20 years. 

She is a graduate of Ripon College in Wisconsin with a dual degree in Biology and Psychology. She is a mother to two children.

About Linda
Linda has been a member of the CLGTC staff since 2017.  She is a mother to three children, her two daughters competed for CLGTC’s Optional Team.  Linda is a former teacher.

About SASHA
Sasha has been a member of the CLGTC staff since 2019. Coach Sasha is a skilled gymnast and coach with over 27 years of experience. He was a member of the Russia National team from 2005 -2008.
​

He attended Kuban State University of Physical Culture, Sports, and Tourism from 2006-2012 where he earned a Masters Degree in Physical Education.

About Dennis
Dennis has been a member of the CLGTC Staff since 2020. He has been coaching gymnastics for 22 years.

​Dennis went to Buffalo Grove High School where he competed floor and trampoline on the gymnastics team.

About Tonia
Tonia has been a member of the CLGTC staff since 2021. She was born and raised in Ukraine. She has over 26 years of experience in the sport. Her favorite event to coach is Bars.

About Mary Ann
Mary Ann has been a member of the CLGTC team staff since 1993. Before becoming a coach, Mary Ann was an elite and college level gymnast.

She started coaching gymnastics at the end of high school and during college she coached at IGI gymnastic camps throughout the country.

Mary Ann received a full gymnastic college scholarship at the University of Oklahoma and Northern Illinois University.

She is a IHSA State Champion in the Uneven Bars and runner up on Balance Beam and All Around.

Fun Fact: she was the first female gymnast to compete a double back on floor exercise at IHSA state meet.

About Savanna
Savanna has been a member of the CLGTC staff since 2013. Before becoming a coach, Savanna competed as Level 9 and a member of the high school team at CLGTC.

She has over 6 years of experience coaching. She has worked with JO women’s program levels 3-8 and Xcel. Savanna also has experience choreographing Optional and Xcel Beam and Floor routines. She holds a current 7/8 judge rating.

Savanna has a Bachelor’s in nutrition from Arizona State University.

About Alyssa
Alyssa has been a member of the CLGTC staff since 2021. She was a gymnast here at CLGTC for many years.

She has worked with Pre-school, Recreational, Xcel Team, and Compulsory Team. Her favorite event is Beam.

Alyssa is pursuing her degree for Early Childhood Education.

About KAREN GRANTHAM
Karen has been a member of the CLGTC coaching staff since 1992. Karen was originally from Long Island, New York. She was a gymnast all through school, and her favorite event was the uneven bars. 

She attended Hofstra University, on Long Island, where she got her teaching degree.

About Shawn
He has been a member of the CLGTC staff since 2015. Shawn has 19 years of experience coaching high school and club gymnastics.

His High School coaching experience includes Addison Trail High School (Girls team – 1998-2002, Boys team – 1999-2002, Assistant Coach Team Accomplishments: 6th place State Team 2000-2001 season, runner-up State Team 2001-2002 season), and New Trier High School – 2002-2013, Assistant Coach of the year 2011, 8th place State Team 2011-2012 season, 4th Place State Team 2012-2013 season).​

Shawn completed his undergraduate at Western Illinois University with a major in Education.  He attended graduate school at Roosevelt University and has a Masters in Teacher Leadership.  Shawn received his Special Education certification from Northern Illinois University.

About Emily
Emily has been a member of the CLGTC since 2019. Before she starting coaching, Emily was a competitive gymnast for 13 years.​

Emily graduated from Crystal Lake South High School in 2019 and is currently taking classes at McHenry County College. She will be continuing her education in Arizona.
