CLGTC Team Families raised more than double of the amount raised last year!! This letter and check was sent yesterday!

Dear Susan G Komen Research Center,
Crystal Lake Gymnastics Team Girls were at it again this year. We held another “Pink Out” Fundraiser in October. The girls ordered pink hair extensions from hairstylist Sarah Safstrom, who GRACIOUSLY volunteered her time to place them in the girl’s hair. All profits went to your wonderful cause. We also sold “Pink” papers at the gym for $1. Clients could then write their name on the paper and hang it in the gym for all to see. We concluded our activity with a PINK OUT, wear PINK to practice day! Last year we raised $191.00. This year we raised $497.85!!! I am so proud of our gymnasts taking pride in giving back to the community. Most of the girls work out 20 hours per week, along with a full week of school. They don’t have time for much after you add in a little homework to their schedule. However, we are a team full of girls and young women! Many who will grow into women who may develop breast cancer some day. We will continue to do our part in helping this future generation of women live long and healthy lives!
